Job Description: Metro Vandalia Campus Worship leader
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Metro Community Church Worship Leader will work alongside the Metro Worship Director, Creative Staff, and Campus Pastors in carrying out the vision for the Worship Ministry at Metro Community Church. The Worship Leader will collaborate to execute high-quality, engaging, and transcendent worship services reflective of Metro’s core values, community, and context. The Worship Leader will be responsible to lead, equip, and build a worship team at one campus. The Worship Leader will lead worship at the campus they are responsible for a minimum of two times per month and will lead at other campuses the remainder of the month. They will be accountable and report to the Metro Worship Director.

The Worship Leader will lead worship at the campus they are responsible for a minimum of two times per month and will lead at other campuses the remainder of the month. They will be accountable and report to the Metro Worship Director.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for being a part of the planning, coordinating, and execution of weekend worship services, as well as other special services (Lord’s Supper, Worship Nights, etc.)
- Assisting the Creative Team by providing creative song and element ideas that reinforce the purpose and direction of the worship services, as well as assist in the planning, development, and execution of all creative elements for weekly services.
- Leading in worship during weekends and special services.
- Coordinating and leading weekly Worship Team rehearsals in preparation for weekend services.
- Recruiting, auditioning, assimilating, developing, and caring for the members of the worship team, both vocal and instrumental.
- Assisting in finding, screening, and implementing all music used during weekend worship services.
- Ensuring the training and development of the production teams (audio, lighting, and media) at the campus they are responsible for.
- Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of technical and musical equipment at the campus they are responsible for
GENERAL MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Encourage and participate in relational evangelism.
- Conduct care calls for the campus they are responsible for.
- Meet with their supervisors weekly for the purpose of evaluation, planning, and communication in their areas of ministry.\
- Meet with their supervisors for a “Yearly Job Description Review”.
- Responsible for communicating, oversight, and implementation of creative elements as well as the process of evaluation and troubleshooting of each element in service in coordination with the production teams at the campus they are responsible for.
- Will be expected to contribute 45-55 hours per week in development and leadership of their ministry.
- Maintain a positive attitude, servant’s heart, and open handedness in all endeavors in ministry.
- Assist Senior Leadership and perform whatever duties that may be assigned to them by the senior staff.
