Thanks for your interest in helping out during Fall-a-Palooza. Read below to find the best spot for you!

How you can serve (EDWARDSVILLE)

Event Day: Sunday, October 5

Week Before Event

-Inside Spruce Up – Extra cleaning & detailing (Sept. 27: 8:00am–noon)

-Decorations – Help decorate with pumpkins & fall décor. (Sept. 29–Oct 2)

-Hay Bales – Pick up 45 bales from Rinkle Farm with the church trailer & deliver to Metro. (Sept. 29–Oct. 2)

-Staging – Move tables/chairs/tents to the Metro trailer. (Oct. 1: 8:30am–4:30pm | Oct. 2: 8:30am–2:30pm)

-Set Up – Move items to the field after the Saturday night service (Oct. 4: 6:30pm–8:00pm)


Day of Event – Outside

-Safety Team (Security) – Normal duties during shifts (10:00am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:00pm)

-Safety Team (Medical) – Normal duties during shifts (10:00am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:00pm)

-New Here Tent/Merch – Greet new guests, register for drawing, give out shirts, sell merch. (9:30am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:30pm)

-Hay Ride Drivers & Helpers – Drive route, help kids on/off safely (9:30am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:30pm) – Extra truck welcome!

-Trash Collection – Remove trash during shifts (9:30am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:30pm) – 4-wheeler provided

-Parking Lot Team – Manage traffic & parking (9:50am–11:20pm, 11:50pm–12:30pm)

-Restroom Team – Keep restrooms tidy/stocked (12:00pm–2:30pm) – Check every 30–45 minutes

-Tear Down – Return items to storage; hay bales to burn pile (2:15pm–3:30pm)


Day of Event – Inside

 -Snack Table – Serve kettle corn & punch; restock & clean up. (Serve at 5:00pm (Edwardsville), 9:00am, or 10:45am – 45 minutes before & 15 minutes after service)

-Raffle/Games Tables – Help with flannel raffle & carnival games. (Edwardsville), 9:00am, or 10:45am – 45 minutes before & 15 minutes after service)

Event Day: Sunday, October 5

Pre-Event

-Decorations – Help decorate with pumpkins & fall décor. (October 4)


Day of Event – Outside

-New Here Tent/Merch – Greet new guests, register for drawing, give out shirts, sell merch. (9:30am–12:00pm, 12:00pm–2:30pm)

-Hay Ride Drivers & Helpers – Drive route, help kids on/off safely – Extra truck welcome!

-Trash Collection – Remove trash during shift

-Restroom Team – Keep restrooms tidy/stocked

-Tear Down
