Metro Community Church equipment usage policy
Stewarding Metro’s Resources for Ministry
Everything Metro owns—our buildings, equipment, furniture, software, and creative tools—exists for one purpose: to serve the mission of our church. These resources help us create impactful worship services, produce meaningful content, and support the ministries that reach and disciple people for Jesus.
Because of that, church-owned equipment, spaces, technology, and furniture should only be used for Metro-related ministry—not for personal or outside projects without prior approval. This is about stewarding what God has entrusted to us to accomplish the mission He's given our church.
To clarify, here’s what that looks like:
✅ Using Metro’s resources—whether it’s our spaces, equipment, furniture, or software—for ministry purposes, including worship services, church events, outreach, discipleship, and creative content that supports our mission.
🚫 Not using church facilities, furniture, cameras, sound gear, production equipment, or creative tools for personal projects, freelance work, outside recording sessions, or private gatherings.
🚫 Not using Metro’s computers, software, or editing tools to create content that isn’t directly tied to our church’s mission.
🚫 Not hosting outside projects, photoshoots, video shoots, or gatherings in our spaces unless they are directly supporting Metro’s ministry.
🚫 Not removing furniture, equipment, or resources from Metro’s spaces for personal use (such as borrowing chairs, tables, or production gear for home events, parties, or projects).
This isn’t about limiting creativity or opportunity—it’s about protecting the mission and the resources God has entrusted to our church. Every piece of equipment, every space, and every tool we have is meant to advance the gospel and serve our church family.
If you ever have questions about what’s appropriate or need approval for a project, just ask. Thank you for using your gifts and creativity to help build the Kingdom through Metro!
