Phase 3

As individuals and families begin meeting together again, it is important to us, at Metro, that we have weekend service options to address varying comfort levels of contact. Below you will find more detailed information regarding all of the opportunities we have to experience church “together" in this first phase. Please read through the options that interest you to learn more about safety protocol and expectations.

SAFETY MEASURES

Over the past few months, we have been working diligently to provide safe in-person services. We want you to feel comfortable returning to our campuses and to accomplish this we have put the following precautions in place:

  • Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged and social distancing protocols will be required at ALL times by everyone attending a service in person. If you don’t have a mask, we are happy to provide one as you enter the building.

  • MetroKids live services will NOT be offered in this first phase of reopening. All MetroKids programming will continue to be available online and families are encouraged to bring streaming devices and headphones into the service.

  • Our facilities will be thoroughly cleaned throughout the weekend and between services.

Reopening OPTIONS

Metro Online

Weekend services will still be available online for those who prefer to continue being a part of Metro Community Church from the comfort of their homes.

  • Weekend services will be available on Metro.live, Facebook Live, and YouTube Live.

  • The message can also be viewed on demand through our website beginning after services conclude on Sunday.

Friends & Family Watch Parties

We want to encourage you to invite your friends and family to view the online service with you. Consider hosting an in-person watch party at your home for one of our weekend services.

In-Person Services

Metro has opened both campuses for limited in-person services.

Services will require advance reservations and be limited to 100 people (including children).

Attenders will be able to experience a “touchless” experience from start to finish (unless using the restrooms).

FAQ

Will MetroKids have children’s programming while I am in the auditorium?
MetroKids will not meet during this phase of reopening. All children's programming will continue to be available at metro.live. You are welcome to bring a device and headphones for your child to utilize MetroKids online. We recommend downloading the content prior to arriving on campus. You can view and download content here.

Can I make a reservation for consecutive weeks?
We ask that you only reserve a seat for in-person services once every three weeks in order to allow others to have an opportunity to attend. If there are seats open toward the end of the week, we will notify everyone.

Will I be required to wear a mask?

Wearing a mask is strongly encouraged while inside our campus buildings.

Will children be required to wear a mask?

Per CDC guidelines, children above the age of two will be strongly encouraged to wear a mask.

Yes. A reservation is required for every person, regardless of age.

What about MetroStudents and MetroCollege?
Both MetroStudents and MetroCollege are working on future plans.

Will the cafe be open?
